How bad can it get? Hillcrest Hospital openly promoting quackery. This is a serious threat to patient safety and a direct assault on the nursing profession. NMCN needs to do something!!! Let us educate the public: nurses are not trained in private hospitals. Nursing education in Nigeria is regulated and conducted through accredited Schools of Nursing, Colleges of Nursing Sciences, and Universities approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). Becoming a nurse requires structured education, clinical training, professional examinations, and registration with the NMCN. No hospital has the authority to independently train and certify individuals as nurses outside these approved pathways. When healthcare institutions promote programmes that create confusion about who is qualified to practise nursing, patient safety is put at risk, public trust is eroded, and the integrity of the profession is threatened. The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) should urgently investigate any practices that may encourage nursing quackery or misrepresent professional nursing qualifications. Patients deserve care from properly educated, licensed, and regulated professionals. The nursing profession deserves to be protected from any form of dilution or misrepresentation. #Nursing #PatientSafety #NMCN #HealthcareLeadership #NursingEducation #ProfessionalStandards #NigeriaHealthcare

Good morning @Nigeria_NMC I am awake today and I want to remind you that you’re yet to release thousands of certificates belonging to graduate nurses since 2023! These nurses are depressed and tired, they need their certificate. Tell us why you are holding it 🙏

Dear @Nigeria_NMC Since 2023 you’ve been intentionally holding nurses certificates, thousands of nurses have been complaining that they have graduated years now without being issued a certificate. You did not even tell them why you are holding their certificate. We demand to

So the other men live in that area but didn't join in abusing the women just looked away? Like thry just pretended nothing was happening? Didn't stop their fellow men??? My entire mind is in turmoil just thinking about it

How you go beat person like that ? You dey gangs of Lagos ? The abuse of younger students by seniors in Nigerian boarding schools must stop. No child should go to school and return traumatized. We must protect our children and hold schools accountable. If that child gets hurt and die now, we’ll start hearing nonsense cover ups. These same boys will come out and join us in society, bully and kill people. I call on @NigeriaGov, @PoliceNG, @NigEducation, @MinOfYouthNG, @NHRCommission, and @UNICEF_Nigeria to look into this urgently and ensure justice is served. Our schools must be safe for every child.

Let’s all lend our voices before Nigerian Police will say they are not aware. Nigerian female footballer, Ihotu Rebecca John, has been KIDNAPPED along the Benin Expressway. Abductors are demanding for ₦20m ransom. Please take this flier and share on your TL.
