In case anyone is interested... There is another climate rally tomorrow, Friday the 19th of November, in front of town hall. Come out and show that you want climate action

Hey guess what! There will be another climate strike this Friday! A main focus for our protest will be RBC's investment in fossil fuels. They are ranked as the number 1 fossil fuels investor in Canada, and number 5 in the world

It was really great to see people come out in support of climate action ahead of COP26! A lot of good connections were made at this rally, which will only be the first of many!

Unfortunately we will not be able to have a meeting tonight the 18th of October. Stay posted for our next meeting though!

I know this post is much later than I had hoped to make it (midterms are killing me), but I want to thank everyone who showed up to the town cleanup on the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd! People in town really appreciated it, we received so much thanks for that!

Want to keep waste out of our waterways? Come out tomorrow from noon till 3 pm for a cleanup around @AntigonishTown! We will have bags and gloves for anyone who needs. Message us if you have any questions!

If you were wondering what the ALPCA is up to... come and find out! This Friday, at 6 pm, we will be having our 2nd meeting at the People's Place Library. Let us know if you want join in!
