2 days agoAn AB adjuster from @AvivaCanada is refusing to reimburse us in full for clinical notes and records that we provided, as requested. She refuses to pay for certain documents within these records because she already has them in her file.
Unbelievable.

3 weeks agoA must read decision. Aviva hit with a $60K+ special award for their treatment of a severely catastrophically impaired insured. Their actions (or inactions) were reprehensible. canlii.org/en/on/onlat/do…

3 months agoRegretfully, this is indeed the state of accident benefits today. Ontario has left victims with very little support after a tragic accident. windsorstar.com/news/local-new…

4 months agoThis is extremely concerning. A LAT adjudicator had applied for, and then accepted, a position at Aviva Insurance as in-house counsel while making decisions where Aviva was a party. All of her decisions in that time period were in favour of the insurer. twitter.com/OntarioTLA/sta…

5 months ago@FAIRAssociation According to case law none of these would be considered "medical reasons" and would, therefore, not be considered a legitimate notice of an insurer's exam.

5 months agoMost obvious is insurers New Medical Information list is a basic list of reasons to deny and derail rehabilitation through deflating injuries. A rather horrifying list. Definitely not assisting the injured person. #Ontario drivers deserve better twitter.com/ninetteibanez/…
