My last run of night shifts for @NEAmbulance this weekend before I take up a tactical commander role at @EMASNHSTrust in the coming weeks. Exciting times ahead!

This and this some more! Colours are very distinctive and should be widely used also. Means we can expect all paramedics to be red for example. And rank/role on red still means they are a paramedic underneath.

This absolutely needs to happen. The events industry is at high risk of major incidents and we often see a lack of experience in the medical team on scene both in medic and commander roles. This is a huge threat to the public and also to later responding commanders and crews.

During the course of our lives, most of us will be exposed to extreme trauma on 3-4 occasions. During the course of their working lives, police officers and paramedics will be exposed to extreme trauma on 400-600 occasions. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek2021
