capital goods imports are up 77% in a year. consumer goods imports are down 12%. > goods deficit: $134.9B, widest since mar 2025 > capital goods imports: $157.4B, from $88.8B > total imports: record $344.1B mostly ai data center gear. the import growth is b2b, not consumer.

USDC went from 10% to 56% of stablecoin trading against the euro since jan 2024, per kaiko. the big jump was march 2025. kraken and binance delisted USDT for EEA users, and USDC went 25% to 46% in a month. USDT is still ~2.5x bigger globally. in europe, exchanges made the call.

stablecoin supply at ~$303B. two issuers hold 84% of it. > USDT $182B (60%) // $92B on Tron > USDC $71B (24%) > all other issuers $50B (16%) USDC is also down about $4B over the past 30 days while USDT barely moved. watching that.
