Dear Nigerians, SUBSIDY IS BACK & Aso Rock is panicking! They have seen the handwriting on the wall. Imminent defeat stares them in the face. The fear of defeat is the only reason why the tone-deaf APC has finally conceded that bold reforms plunged more Nigerians into poverty. This is just another under-recovery, ‘Price Modulation’ is just another sexy name for subsidy. They are too proud to accept that subsidy is back. Accepting would mean that subsidy removal was bad & it has not worked. So in their last-ditch effort to convince you to vote for them again, they have partially restored subsidy. They want to peg ex-gallantry price & the landing cost of petrol at ₦1,350 per liter. They promised cheaper transportation from October 1, did it happen? They promised you cheaper food, did it happen? The fact remains that they don’t rate Nigerians. Taiwo Oyedele made promises that came too little, too late. There is no guarantee that the price of a liter of fuel won’t exceed the ₦1,350 ceiling. They are simply delaying your maximum punishment. They are deferring the cost until after January 16th, thereby postponing your punishment. If you make the mistake of voting for them this time, you will pay that deferrence in February, as they will allow the refineries & importers to recover their shortfalls after the election. They want to take you back to what looks like the Buhari era, but only for 30 days. They want to do you “longer throat,” to show you exactly what you are missing. Those are dangerous minds if you ask me; a very wicked people. Do you know how many Nigerians have died since the stupid reforms? And after the 30 days, what will happen? How many NNPC filling stations are dispensing fuel at the moment? Who guarantees who can get the discounts?

Oyedele: We are introducing price modulation, with a ₦1,350 per litre ceiling that is neither a subsidy nor price control We are introducing price modulation. Government is negotiating a ceiling of ₦1,350 per litre on the ex-gantry or landing cost of petrol to keep the price

@segalink We are too quick to judge. Is there anything wrong with expressing joy and appreciation to God through dance? God alone knows the heart and who truly serves Him. Let’s judge less and leave the final judgment to God.

When injustice is defended and incompetence is celebrated, the suffering of the people only deepens. The little the masses have keeps being taken, while the powerful gain even more. Silence and blind loyalty to bad leadership eventually cost everyone.

Go to university to read Accounting Actuarial science Agriculture Anatomy Architecture Banking and Finance Business Communications Cybersecurity Dentistry Economics Education Engineering (all kinds) Geology Geophysics Marketing Mathematics Nursing Optometry Pharmacy Psychology/Psychiatry Science (Medicine, Physics and Chemistry based courses) Technology (Robotics, Aeronautics, IT, AI, and Digital technologies) These are relevant degree courses up to tomorrow. From a cost-benefit analysis point of view, they offer the best successful outcomes against time and money spent in a university. I may have missed one or two. But not much. Political science, languages and linguistics, sociology, philosophy, library science, public administration, and mass communication are okay to read for just a few people. But when hundreds of thousands study these courses in a country with few opportunities for such areas of specialisation, you may want to tread softly. The point is that many courses now offered by many universities are obsolete. According to research from the Pew Institute, some universities only offer such courses to raise their income. Many, including Oxford and Cambridge, are shutting down some out-of-date departments. Instead of spending $20,000 and four years to read a course irrelevant to modern life, you are better off taking a six to one-year course and learning a marketable on-demand skill. Please don't insult me. It is just the reality. #RenosNuggets
