We should follow the Swedish 🇸🇪 model to reach net zero. The Swedish deputy prime minister states that it is simply not possible to reach net zero by 2045 without #nuclear. Nuclear provides a fossil free base load to allow more wind and solar on their electricity grid.

1/7. It's important to understand the role of tax in the state's finances. Tax has several roles, but the only one that it isn't for is paying for government expenditure. Govt spending has no financial operational dependency on income tax as revenue for spending.

More renewables = more variation. It should be obvious from this chart to all that there is no way to bring the mean down below the target by adding more renewables. Storage can dampen the oscillations very slightly, but you need days or weeks worth to have much effect
