From birth the maternal/infant breastfeeding dyad is undermined & destroyed by UPF, swaddling, dummies, timed feeds, sleep training. Mother’s instinct and biologically normal nurturing replaced with dishonest marketing campaigns selling products. Keep mothers & babies together!

@dralexstevenson We have the same problem as you in many NICU’s in Brazil. I usually recommend increasing HM volume (we go as high as 200 ml/kg/d). As to Ca and P, we supplement it as needed.

Obesity is about to replace smoking as the number one preventable cause of cancer. If that's not a clear sign that sugar and ultra-processed foods are largely responsible for our recent surge in cancer, then I'm not sure what is.
