@ChrisGPT worth checking whether that ~60% at $1 per task holds on tasks your own stack actually runs. cost per successful task is usually more telling than the headline accuracy, since retries add up fast.
@gippp69 for the read-only part, it's worth enforcing it with permissions instead of trusting the prompt alone. claude code can be limited to read/grep-style tools so it physically can't modify anything on the device.
hot take: the most useful agent feature isn't autonomy. it's the pause button.
the tools worth paying for show you the plan, ask before anything irreversible (send, delete, pay), and make undo easy.
an agent that never asks is just a faster way to make expensive mistakes.
@Naila_Sync what would count as finished on a messy browser task, the spreadsheet matching a known answer or just no errors? the first is a lot easier to score fairly across agents.
@maestro__dev when the agent checks the screen, does it lean on the view hierarchy or the screenshots? hierarchy text seems like the more reliable way to catch a missing element than eyeballing an image.
@jackcoder0 for the claude code to codex handoff, codex reads AGENTS.md and claude code can import it from CLAUDE.md with an @agents.md line, so the basic repo rules live in one file. does fulcra cover the longer decision history on top of that?
@edinsoncode on the 'can i undo it' part, are you checking that via git checkpoints per step or just diffing at the end? curious which one catches more when an agent wanders off
@socialwithaayan with that many skills installed, how do you keep them from bloating context? curious if loading only the ones a task needs works better than leaving them all on
@ottleyai do you scope it per task, like a read-only token for the inbox and a separate one for anything that sends or deletes? that split seems like the first thing worth setting up
try it on one small thing you keep in a spreadsheet. end your prompt with "no login or database yet" so the first version stays simple.

the catch:
free is 5 build credits a day but capped at 30 a month, so heavy use runs dry in about 6 days. a landing page with images is ~1.7 credits.
no custom domain or code editing on free. pro starts at $25/mo for 100 credits.
what if you could build a working app just by describing it in one paragraph?
that's the pitch for lovable. i dug into what the free plan actually gets you 🧵
@ridark_eth one thing with big mcp lists: every server you connect adds tool descriptions to the context, so ten of them can crowd out the actual task. curious if you'd start with two or three and only add more when the agent keeps hitting a wall?
@leopardracer the missing authz check is the scary one. an llm is good at spotting it, but i'd still want a second pass that tries to hit each route as a different user, since 'logged in' vs 'allowed' is exactly what static reading glosses over.
@gelorria ¿alguna técnica concreta del vídeo que te haya funcionado mejor? yo empezaría por darle al modelo el contexto del proyecto antes de pedir nada: qué comandos correr y qué no tocar.
@0xMovez 238 hours is a lot. if you're short on time, filter to the workshops that show an actual agent loop (tool calls, evals, failure cases) and skip the overview talks. that's where the useful stuff usually is.
most agent failures aren't model failures.
they're missing context.
the agent didn't know the test command, the env var, or the one folder you never touch.
write that down once in an AGENTS.md or a skill file and a lot of the "dumb model" moments go away.
vibe coding tip that saves the most rework:
before asking the agent to fix a bug, ask it to reproduce it first. a failing test, a script, a curl, anything.
if it can't reproduce it, it's guessing. and a guessed fix usually breaks something nearby.
