Before the event was shut down due to severe weather, 98-year-old Betty Lindberg finished the Peachtree Road Race 10K in 2:15:32, beating her goal. #AJCPRR
98-year-old Betty Lindberg is competing in her 34th AJC Peachtree Road Race. After starting in the 7 a.m. wave, she embraced family and friends at the the mile marker. Betty, who aims to finish this year’s race in 2 hrs and 20 mins, should be crossing the finish line soon.
