Such a great resource for teachers and students to use. Depending on the age of your classroom, you could create flashcards that are easily accessible for all your students. Or they could make their own! It's never to early to practice studying quizlet.com #pstpln #ed

A5: It's hard managing all the different levels of students you will have, but I think a great way to manage this is to give each student a set of books to choose from that are in their reading level that they can work on independently and need some help. #elachat

A3: I might do some type of prep by having a loose discussion to see where the students are generally at. Also, for elementary students I might read a fictional story before hand and so there can be some schema before doing a nonfiction piece. #elachat #ed #reading #books

A2: First off, I will not teach students a topic if I do not fully understand what the content is. It's important to make sure I'm well versed in the content I read the material, study it, and pull outside resources to give my students the best I can possibly give. #elachat #ed

A1: When I am in a classroom teaching, I try to make the content relevant to my students lives to build knowledge. When evaluating a text I look at the reviews, possible awards, the age appropriateness, maybe a peers recommendation, etc. #elachat #students #ed
