Considering that a Tesla on FSD V12 is literally driving still supervised but autonomously on literally every road in the US and Canada, even roads you don't recognize as such, and people continue to claim Waymo or Cruise are doing the same thing, is hilarious. Let's start to be honest and stop comparing apples to oranges!
@alex_avoigt Robotaxi service is already online and it isn’t Tesla
@alex_avoigt U can take dan o dog as a catalyst… from all that uploads he finds so less examples to shit on…. The SW is getting so good, really curious what elon will have to say bout it on the earnings
@alex_avoigt show me a video of a driverless FSD Tesla...Waymo has been doing this for 9years (In fall 2015, Google achieved a significant milestone by providing “the world’s first fully driverless ride on public roads”.) yup Apples to Oranges
@alex_avoigt Agree, I even used FSD successfully on some roads and conditions I don’t think Waymo or Cruise would dare go or have mapped.

Let's also be honest about FSD. I live in a rural area with nicely finished and painted county roads and short stretches of unpaved roads. It (FSD 12.3.4) absolutely cannot drive "autonomously" -- not even close. My 2014 Jeep Cherokee outperforms FSD 12.3.4 on the basics: lane keeping, speed maintenance, and object detection (collision avoidance). That's not at all what I expected when I got my Model Y a few weeks ago. FSD is unusable at simple stop signs, doesn't know or often ignores the speed limits, has difficulty staying in its lane, and on the road altogether on gravel. Sure, it does an excellent job at complex stoplights in town or on an interstate. The problem is getting to where FSD works well. I'm disengaging and recording messages so often.... It's too much to do for any period of time. And, sometimes, it's just dangerous to myself and other cars. Example: FSD suddenly pulls toward a turn lane when I'm going straight. I fight it. FSD releases the stearing wheel without warning as it disengages. The car goes left toward oncoming traffic as my reflexes take a second to react to the loss of tension on the steering wheel. That moment wasn't cool. I thought I was going to hit someone head on. @Tesla_na @Tesla
@alex_avoigt I want to believe that as more people see it, this perception changes.
@alex_avoigt They're only lying to themselves, I still haven't figured out how that helps anyone.
@alex_avoigt I'd say it's more like comparing plums to raisins. 🤔
@alex_avoigt It’s only been a couple minutes let it play out 🤗
@alex_avoigt Well Tesla is a lemon when it come to autonomous driving and quality. So go ahead and ride it to zero.
