Why AI is a house of cards: 1. You pay $200 a year for an AI app (like Cursor). 2. Cursor pays OpenAI $500 for API tokens ($300 of which is VC funding). 3. OpenAI pays AWS $1000 for compute ($500 of which is VC funding). 4. $AWS pays $10k for $nvda GPUs. See the problem?

@iamharaldur Commenting on just the 4 months for estimate, 4 months to create the estimate is not bad considering what they would have had to evaluate with every singe side effect that adding a simple edit feature would entail. Easier said than done is more understated than many people care…

Found this nifty free tool called Holiday Optimizer that can turn 15 PTO into 53 days off! You put in the days of paid time off you get + preferred break strategy and it plans out when you should go on vacation. Great example of a well designed, useful side project.
