@trev1712 I have played there once, more of a paddock than a cricket oval I’d say. Very unique experience going over there though.

@XanderMcGuire7 @aflratings @7AFL @7NewsMelbourne A draw, a five point game, one of the biggest upsets of the year, and a four point game over the last four years. Really been horrible for a while hey.

@rfcswallace @Higgs311 I’d love him in 9 but next to Lalor sounds even better now I think about it

@WisdenCricket The top four didn’t play together as much as we might think they did. Kasprowicz kept Lee out for a long time, they all had plenty of injuries. It’s amazing how often the current quarter are all out there together.

@RichmondDynasty I don’t think we use 44. Trade it into a future draft and just use the primo picks. I would say Burton is in the most strife of those out of contract.

@Tigercastpod People can say we wanted too much, but we weren’t shopping him, we were willing to listen, and he’s our contracted player. Collingwood expected us to roll over. This is going to hurt them chasing players and Short is well within his rights to be filthy with them.

@rfcswallace Have to think this hurts them when next chasing players. Bad look.

@FlightPlanPod Well if pick 19 is more important then fair enough. Personally I don’t think that’s how they should be thinking though.

@FlightPlanPod If the rate him as second best then why not bid. If you bid on Cochrane you’re accepting taking the third best player as it allows Carlton to match as well. Not petty at all for me. You get him for three years and if he leaves you get an absolute haul. It’s a competition.

@DHughesy Is this a new thing? Has this increased or decreased? How many did Morrison have? Presented without context.

@kakacricket11 In a weird sort of way, I think the Cummins/McDonald regime will genuinely believe this. It’s changed somewhat with Head at the top, but they do believe the top three are there to take time of the game for the middle order.
