A part of me had always wished we never met since from the start you have reopened wounds and widened them further with your own painful crafts, all while smiling so sadly.
Yet I still apologized, deluding it was all me, that I must forsake myself for this to even continue. Every single time. Even when I told myself that I don’t owe you anything why does my heart still cling onto you hopelessly.
I try not to dwell on it so much but oh how you made me so sad all this time…
Short and sweet. But an outcome that led to an end since the start.
“The moon is beautiful, isn’t it?” To “The sunset is beautiful, isn’t it?”
Surprising myself by trying new things I’ve been capable of has been pleasant
To want to better myself costing those who I put first before me, is not a loss at all.
Is it just me who feels the anxiety surfacing up, the truth revealing, the commitment that can’t be met, the dread to unfold?
Silence it, suppress it, make it disappear, ignore it until it feels like it doesn’t exist
