So X locks stuff behind a pay wall and calls it verification? How is it verified if all you need to do to get verified is pay? I am sorry i like Elon and X but i will never pay $8 for a blue check mark that does not equal verified it just means you pay $8 a month

Just my two cents for what its worth buying a subscription to a social media platform like this one does not make you verified in my eyes as anyone can pay so what are you really verifying? Maybe that you have an valid CC

So the idea that simply paying for verification is enough to verify a user on twitter is not at all safe! If you do no actual verification, then all you did was verify the user had a debit or CC
