Why do people insist on repeating bilingual kids acquire English slower. Non-bilingual kids become fluent in 2 languages slower.
Insist your child ask for something "without whining" before giving it; best way I know how to reduce this annoying behavior.

Young children are hard to have conversations with. But tell them a story and they are riveted.
The good thing about parenting: you are not just handed a 15 yr-old. You get to grow along with your kids.
What jobs require the greatest integrity? Taking care of young kids and the elderly. Any others?
Remember to tell stories to your children. So rich for imagination. Models creativity in action.
