@balaguerguitars Love that finish!

@Mr_Podcast @erikxhall I know, I know. I've thought about putting out a few singles, then releasing them as an EP after they're all out, plus an extra song or two I haven't released as singles

Working on new music. Should I release singles as they're finished, or another EP?

BRILLIANT, CARL. BRILLIANT! 💡

@CarlLandra I think that's the move! Better get started on my next EP then, summer is OVER!

@CarlLandra With the EP, I had fun working on it over the course of a few months. Tweaking, rewriting, etc. It was written and recorded over the winter, and I'm planning the same type of schedule. Maybe the single tracks are for the summer when I have less time

@CarlLandra I think single tracks will get more stuff out faster, and it's cool to just release it and move on to something else. But, a 4ish song EP let's me to do weird things that fit more into the context of a theme, rather song one song. If that makes sense?

So begins another sonic adventure...

Another album that helped guide my writing process for the Solitary Land EP was Conqueror by Jesu. Huge sounds, droning, heavy, melodic. youtu.be/svWCQme0Etc

The first major influence on the direction of my writing for Solitary Land, was "There Will Be No Peace" by @TheAngelusBand. I'd never thought of music as an expanded, singular idea until I heard this album. Here's the title track. youtu.be/FT3ClwKExI4

Over the next few days, I think I'll share the music I was into that had a big impact on the sound of the new EP, Solitary Land. (Which I've included the link for 😉) anecroftmusic.bandcamp.com/album/solitary…

@4thLinePodcast Thanks for sharing! 4th Line rules!

From the man who brought you our intro jam, now comes more great music! x.com/ane_croft/stat…

@Mr_Podcast It's a Royal JOKE!

So in to @KingsOfLeon right now. Years, really, since I saw them in Philly back on the Only by the Night tour. But, REALLY feeling the KOL vibe lately. Maybe it's the warm weather. 🏝🎸🎸🏝

I want to make the music that feels like Gojira and Daft Punk met at a party and took psychedelics
