United States Supreme Court Justice, Ketanji Brown Jackson, Lincoln Memorial, Washington, D.C., 2022 / For @voguemagazine
@annieleibovitz @voguemagazine oh, the delicious howls and salty tears that Coney-Barrett wasn't photographed (like we need more mediocre whyte women brought forward)
@annieleibovitz @voguemagazine You just refuse to properly light dark skinned Black women, huh?
@annieleibovitz @voguemagazine This is horrible. How did you manage the 1). Poor lighting of this Black woman, 2). De-center her in her own narrative, and 3). Make a dead white man the center of a Black woman’s success and narrative. Vogue doesn’t have any Black women photogs who could have done this right?
@annieleibovitz @voguemagazine @voguemagazine, were there no Black women photographers available for this shoot? Shame on you and shame on @annieleibovitz. Justice KBJ deserves so much better.
@annieleibovitz @voguemagazine Garbage photos. I mean, really embarrassing. Maybe conservatives of all colors should count themselves lucky Vogue refuses to acknowledge their existence if it means being photographed like this.
@annieleibovitz @finneyk @voguemagazine Absolutely beautiful!
