@martijnreintjes I’m trying so hard to do this! But as a child my parents used the person compliments not the behaviour complements, so it’s wired into me at a deep level. I find it hard to retrain myself. Part of me also thinks “well YOU turned out ok”. Any thoughts on that? cc @basakbuilds!

Sharing feels great but I don't share *everything* I own. I don't share a book in the middle of reading it. It's not much different with kids. Forcing them to share can backfire. Do you wanna raise kids who love to share? It's a long game but I can tell you how 😬🧵
