First high level meeting of high power committee tomorrow 10.30 AM .
Incidentally out of 5 from IBA 2 are pnbian and one is current MD of PNB.
Damage control in full swing without delivering anything concrete .
Aggrieved and disappointed with UFBU decision to defer 3 days strike action without date of implementation of 5 days banking AIPNBOF has decided to de affiliate with AIBOA and In turn moving out of UFBU .
AIPNBOF was never consulted on this betrayal of PSB bankers by UFBU leadership.
India’s banking system is 24×7. Digital banking has expanded rapidly. 24,162 crore UPI transactions, 34.2 crore installations of official mobile-banking apps, 2.60 lakh BC/CSP points and 1.34 lakh PSB ATMs/CRMs. Yet bankers still work 6 days a week. Banking has changed. It’s time

For last 15 years government of India has been trying to introduce individual performance linked incentive as a part of financial support to PSB employees over and above fixed salary but unions are not in favour of individual performance based incentive.union has favored bank performance based pli .and present pli is based on that principle.
Ij nov 24 government of India has come out with a PPI scheme for scale 4 upwards officers calling that group as senior executives and this scheme is mixture of bank performance as well as indicated performance.since this new scheme has bring in individual performance into account for PLI so unions are opposed to it .
I do not think government will be reluctant to give individual individual performance based pli for bank employees below scale 4 scale but for that unions have to be ready for that .
Government of India thinks that PSB employees only up to scale 3 should be unionised and covered under ID acts .
For last many years government has tried to delink salary of scale 4 and upwards officers from wage hike negotiation at IBA and union level negotiation and in next bipartite government will make a serious efforts towards that goal .
And it looks like government of India has fully measured strength and weakness of PSB industry level unions leaders so they have given go ahead instructions to PSB management to pay pli to senior executives based upon individual performance despite threat of strike from ufbu leadership.
My personal opinion is not adverse to mixture of bank and individual performance linked PLI .one should evolved and keep pace with changing times and should not be dogmatic.
But one thing wrong with new government scheme on PLI is that bottom 20 pc are excluded from any PLI .i believe that all should be given pli .amount may vary as per performance but zero is not acceptable.
Buy an EV, and you will barely have to spend anything on servicing.
That's what convinced my friend to buy a ₹18 lakh Tata Nexon EV.
But when he received the estimate for its 4th service, he could not believe his eyes.
Total Estimate ₹15,525+ GST.
The service estimate included
Major Service
Gear Oil Replacement
Coolant Replacement
Brake Service
AC Duct Cleaning
Wheel Alignment & Balancing
Computer Scanning
Interior Cleaning
And that's where the biggest question comes in
If an EV does not need engine oil changes, spark plugs,
a timing belt, or even a clutch,
then what exactly makes a ₹15,000 service bill ?
When buying an EV, we are constantly told
Lower Running Costs
Lower Maintenance Costs
Better Long Term Savings
But if every major service comes with a ₹15,000-₹20,000 estimate,
does low maintenance start to sound more like a marketing slogan than reality ?
To be fair, some of these items may be optional,
but for the average customer,
it's often difficult to tell which services are genuinely necessary and which are simply add ons.
So here's the question
Are EVs truly low maintenance vehicles,
or do they mainly save you money on fuel while servicing still remains expensive ?
If you own a Nexon EV
or any other electric car,
what's the highest service bill you have received ?
Do you think ₹15,000 for the 4th service is justified ?
@chetakofficial Do you require Aadhar copy before giving price quotation? Is it mandatory? In reply to my query today I got call from 073280 42010 and they asked Aadhar before answering me.
