Debunking the Phantom Debts and Ecological Loan Fallacy My attention has been drawn to trending claims by the Anambra State Government that my administration left behind inherited debts, including a ₦2 billion ecological loan, contractor liabilities, and unpaid salaries, gratuities, and pensions. This is completely false. We systematically liquidated historical gratuities and arrears dating back several years, amounting to over ₦35 billion. At the point of handover, the state owed nothing in salaries, gratuities, or pensions, nor did we owe anything to any contractor for projects duly executed and certified. The ₦2 billion ecological fund in question was released barely three months before the end of my tenure for the Oko/Umuchiana erosion crisis. Despite pressure to spend the money, I refused, insisting that it should be left for my successor because government is a continuum and the funds were tied to a specific project. The money was therefore left 100 per cent intact in First Bank, in Account No. 2018779464, with a balance of over ₦2.13 billion. It is important to stress that funds tied to specific projects or set aside for particular purposes were not even included in the over ₦75 billion in savings we left behind. If anybody can establish anything to the contrary, I will stop campaigning. -PO

@Bayo_Bilisi @AmodaOgunlere @AdeHardemola @Sanchyoloye @Sistaliano If not that you're daft, you would have known that ADMISSION is not GRADUATION. Admission does not mean you graduated. BTW, show us his birth certificate, and primary & secondary schools certificate. Until then, shut up! 🤬

@DrFolaseye May God reward you and your team bountifully for this great service to humanity. Thank you so much. 🍾

Breaking News! Was Soludo drunk when he said this? Thank God for social media. If it was in 2003, he will deny he never said this. We will be using the video of Peter enemies to campaign for him.

@GRVlagos Take heart, May her soul rest in peace.

@SimFubaraKSC How can you charge them, when you are not even in charge of your thoughts let alone your actions. What a joke.

Do you know one thing about him that’s true? @officialABAT

@Nadoziechiamaka Judging by the comments here, it's obvious that majority of Nigerians are shallow minded; they can't think. The message passed here by our GOLDEN GLOVES @Nadoziechiamaka is not about Umuada. It's about the adiire cloth that makes Super Falcons to look like old women. Get d point

@Peter4Nigeria @SamAmadi @InibeheEffiong This APC government is shameless.

@vanguardngrnews It's not about your tribe. Rangers FC is for the best talents, and not amateurs like you. You're not a talented footballer, that's why you're not a regular starter in SUPER EAGLES.

@Certifiedbj001 @ruffydfire You nean; Akara to all, poverty to the people.

Lokoja Judgment: An Unnecessary Serious Setback for Nigerian Democracy Today was an exceptionally busy day. I left Lagos in the early hours for Emekuku, where I visited the School of Nursing Sciences, an institution I have consistently supported over the years. It was gratifying to inspect projects funded through my previous interventions, including the school’s computer laboratory. Such investments reaffirm my belief that education remains one of the strongest foundations for national development. From there, I attended the 80th birthday celebration of the Emeritus Archbishop of Owerri, Most Rev. Dr Anthony Obinna, whose commitment to justice, peace, and the common good has inspired many, before proceeding to Madonna University for another engagement. It was at Madonna University that I received the court news of the Lokoja court rulings through my brother, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. Every Nigerian committed to the country’s progress should be deeply concerned. This judgment represents another setback for our democracy and the institutions upon which our future depends. It is regrettable that some who claim to champion democracy now appear determined to weaken the very institutions that sustain it. In doing so, they are undermining public confidence and endangering the future of millions of Nigerians. The legislature and the judiciary are increasingly being drawn into this pattern of institutional decline. Democracy cannot thrive where institutions lose their independence and credibility. Those who seek to weaken Nigeria’s democratic foundations will not ultimately prevail. When a similar situation recently affected the ADC, I condemned it without hesitation. I do so again today because my position has always been guided by principle. My concern is not about who becomes President. My concern is that Nigeria works. Our politics must move beyond the quest for power and focus instead on building a united nation founded on justice, strong institutions, the rule of law, and equal opportunity. That is the Nigeria we owe ourselves and the one we must leave for future generations. I therefore urge all well-meaning Nigerians to rise above partisan interests and defend our democracy. The survival of our institutions is inseparable from the survival of our nation. It's when we work together that a new Nigeria of our dream is made POssible. -PO

@ruffydfire Stainless Rock! The peoples President! Peter Obi or nothing!

@KwankwasoRM " We Are Resolute ". l love this. Nigeria shall be OK.

@markokoyeII I hope you are keeping all the allocations you've been collecting? Make sure you keep all the money in the bank until 2050. Nonsense! It's obvious that the commission under your watch is all about conferences and meetings without any action.
