@MitchHHL @VorileBemx Can this support PS4/5? The raspberry pi pico is compatible with them including the devices that sell with them in it. There's plenty of documentation on it and I see the firebird "pro controller" has that PlayStation support. It would be huge if it comes to ProGCC4.

@AshenOne38286 @astaranx @OBE1plays Figured it was an AMD card because freesync works over HDMI 2.0. Nvidia cards do not have the same grace. If you use HDMI on Windows via an Nvidia card the only way to have VRR is if your display had HDMI 2.1. It's more AMD being flexible with VRR options than Microsoft's skill.

@JustSlaythe @OBE1plays @4k I have the LG CX. Pretty sure that's high end. But i do understand what you're saying. I'm mostly on PC and playing games at very high framerates. I do think its just ur display tho. Some do 4:2:2 better than others. I think colors will be worse on NSW2 as well cuz low bandwidth

@astaranx @AshenOne38286 @OBE1plays Yeah I saw, the OP posted it without any context. The NSW2 having 8fps VRR range gives it one aspect over PS5. But overall VRR is still better on PS5. 1. You can do 4K/120/VRR you can't do 120 on Switch 2. More bandwidth, better colors 3. NSW is far likely to go <48FPS than PS5

@jerfinzon @OBE1plays It's actually "8" but I completely agree with what you said. Plus the NSW2 is far more likely to have games go 40FPS and lower than PS5. Most PS5 games won't run at lower framerates the way NSW2 does.

@JustSlaythe @OBE1plays @4k The only form of VRR that goes below 48FPS iirc is G-Sync with Nvidia. Instead of doing 4:4:4 chroma subsampling the PS5 downgrades to 4:2:2 chroma subsampling w/120fps. It isn't noticeable to the human eye this is an exaggeration. And it STILL has far more bandwidth than NSW2.
