Lover took me by surprise for a tamil movie. Arun’s character was despicable and yet the entanglement of the relationship made sense without it being romanticised. Manukandan was so brilliant that I won’t be able to watch him on screen until this wears off.

I saw a windows screensaver in my friend’s computer few weeks back, paused the conversation and asked - ‘where’s this place?’ And decided to get here. Mystical, magical, otherworldly and fairytale like in every sense of the word.
