Pretty privilege is def a double-edged sword. I know plenty of attractive women who have few friends because people grow to resent them for how their life appears. Being very pretty often makes way for envy, projection, and people assuming that you don’t have real problems.

I just finished “My Year of Rest and Relaxation” and it paints a very vivid picture of this phenomenon. The protagonist is beautiful and was born into privilege; and her peers hated her for it. So she led a very lonely life for a majority of the plot.
@jonetaw you didn’t lie so I don’t see what people’s problem is . this is a legitimate example of a negative experience that comes w/being “pretty” . not harassment & SA .
