@coolurbanhippie Nope it’s xennials who are the micro generation that shifted culture we are a smaller group. Millennials are mostly piggy backers of originality. Pew Research says” members of Generation X born between 1965 and 1980, Millennials between 1981 and 1996. Xennials, 1977 and 1983.”
I agree. I think the problem for me is that frameworks and libraries definitely have their place, but are typically treated as a Frank's Hot Sauce "I put that shit on everything" solution. I don't want to see frameworks lose, but I do want us to use them WAY less.
The web is not a zero-sum game. I dislike the narrative that frameworks will either win or lose, and that you need to "place a bet." Indeed, it is easy to fall into this mindset if everything is VC-backed, but not everything is, nor does it have to be.
Y'all really just jump from one fucking hype train to the next, huh? Crypto. NFTs. Web3. VR. Now AI and ChatGPT. I can't keep up with all the buzzwords I need to block. Y'all need to chill for a hot minute.
