Developing software that solves complex human problems. Founder of Fairmo & Glossa. Documenting the mechanics of solo execution.fairmo.app Loading…Joined June 2025
So this month I started building Glossa, a mobile app where you can create your own vocabulary lists and share a single word or an entire list with friends in a few taps.
The idea is simple: make collecting, organizing, and sharing words easier.
This Promo built with Opus 5.5.
I'm curious to see how far I can take Glossa, and I'm exploring hackathons for the first time.
If you're learning another language, how do you collect and share new words today?
Do you use notebooks, spreadsheets, flashcard apps, or something else?
Later, I want to add personalized AI practice that uses the words you've learned, especially the ones you struggle with, in conversations and examples.
That's the plan, not a feature that's already built.
When I was learning English, I kept new words in a notebook.
The annoying part was sharing them. If a friend wanted my words, they'd have to copy everything into their own notebook.
Such a small thing, but sharing vocabulary was harder than it needed to be.
YOU’RE BUILDING AN APPLICATION.
No domain. No budget. No Visa. No Stripe.
You’re from a country where getting access to payment methods is almost impossible.
What are you supposed to do in this situation? How do you make it work?
@Tech_p001 you build, and then what?
no money for a domain, VPS, or Apple Developer account. being from Afghanistan means you can’t easily access Visa, PayPal, or Stripe to accept payments either.
it hurts to have the skills to build something, but not the means to share it with the world
