A day ago, I was lucky to be able to capture this incredible stellar occultation by an object in the Kuiper Belt, 2002MS4. For ~30 seconds, a star ~2,900ly away, blinked out. It was accurately predicted by the Lucky Star Team: lesia.obspm.fr/lucky-star/occ… #astronomy #outreach

Comet NEOWISE still easily visible in binoculars NNW from the UK at 2200 UTC (2300 BST). Getting higher in the sky, but also fading, from night to night. Spectacular overhead pass of ISS at 2220 UTC (2320 BST), with bright flaring a few minutes later as it passed eastwards.
