@psparkison I am glad there is one other person in the world who appreciates the end of Lost.

@transmagdalene If you're on an Applebee's in Little Rock, you don't need to be told that Hell is real.

@usccbp I signed up for a class at a seminary I couldn't pay for. The prof was incredible, but the rector personally pulled me out of class and told me not to come back until I had the money. My moment wasn't that, but when the rector became an archbishop.

@rcjparry @ScottGreenfield Well, 1000 people were killed by police in 2019 (19-20 a week). The ideal number is the one that results in the lowest number of deaths.

@AquilaImperii @thesoyjim Ironically, you are disagreeing with the church when you say that disagreement with church teaching is leaving it. There are church authorities who hear the right to declare someone a heretic and you aren't one of them.

@sugarfreecat1 @SanguisChristi_ @sabrina_verita You have no business telling someone to rejoin the church. You can disagree with Catholic teaching and be a Catholic, only a bishop has the right to excommunicate someone.

@jaketapper Or, we're taking the best we can get, since the alternative would be to have the President actively protect the prince and brag about it to his friends.

@existentialcoms Lots of superheroes are geniuses (Iron Man, Mr Fantastic, Professor X, Beast, Antman, Spiderman) But if they used their genius to become great philosophers, they wouldn't have powers. And I got some early lessons in existentialism from "Secret Wars II".

@EdmondxDantes @existentialcoms Secret Wars II. An all-powerful being seeks to understand the nature of desire. Dr Doom steals his omnipotence, and realizes that "winning" means nothing; the struggle brings meaning, not the victory. But he doesn't reform, because the heroes need him to struggle against. 1/2

@DarylLicTecOAA @jorymicah No. That's why God told Paul to make it clear that keeping women silent was his (Paul's) idea and not God's.

@mikalkhill I don't know what that is, but you don't like it, so the answer is no.

@psparkison Can't answer the first. Passive income is code for "I inherited money."

@renee_roederer Thanks! All is reasonably well. Actually it was a long slow process but I now have a core group and we're looking at experiments to context with people. One of those is that i started using my personal Twitter...
