The irony of Silicon Valley: SF/Bay Area is the global tech & startup hub... Yet fiber internet options are almost nonexistent! Only one provider in my city, and the tech said, "I'm not sure if we can set it up for you." Tweeting this from my 1 GIG ↑/↓ fiber connection. 🚀
Outright daylight robbery by @SlackHQ. You need to pay for slack to even access a connected channel - hosting side paying isn't enough. On the other hand @basecamp by @37signals is so simple - the organization hosting the project pays, and contractors and guests access for free!
