This is standout in React as all it takes is a re-render to cause a loop. State updates trigger component, component triggers effect, effect writes state (even if async). But React does have explicit dependencies to help with preventing that effect run when it shouldn't. 2/

We're used to it at this point really.. hell `useState`. But it's the disconnect between my normal looking JS reactive variable and the special primitive that is forefront here that makes it so obvious in Ripple. So it's a silly criticism, but maybe we are the ones upside down.

Seeing the reaction to the Array primitive in @ripple__js, I can't help but feel that React initially taught us the wrong lesson, and Svelte initially taught us the wrong solution to that lesson. Data primitives that are special are allowed to be. It isn't something to be feared
