My husband stopped having sex with me for 8 months, so I secretly started sleeping with another man. Yesterday, my husband finally told me the real reason he had been avoiding me. 😭😭 For months, I thought he no longer found me attractive. I tried everything to get his attention, but he kept making excuses. Eventually, I met someone who made me feel wanted again. I knew what I was doing was wrong, but I convinced myself my husband had already abandoned me emotionally. Yesterday, I decided to end the affair. Before I could say anything, my husband sat me down and said: “There’s something I’ve been hiding from you since the day we got married.” I started crying and asked if he had been cheating too. He shook his head. Then he said: “Every time you tried to get close to me, I wanted to tell you the truth, but I was afraid you’d leave.” I asked him what truth. He opened his phone, showed me a conversation, and said: “Your best friend has known about this since before our wedding.” I immediately called her. When she answered, I asked her why she had kept such a big secret from me. She started crying and said: “I thought he had already told you.” I asked her what she was talking about. Then she said: “Ask your husband why he chose you instead of me.” 😭💀 Now I don’t know who betrayed me more—my husband or my best friend. Would you forgive either of them?
