@OzarkArmament An 8" barrel really works nice, but isn't practical.

@The_Monarch @ScottMcCreaWest My best friend when I was in 3rd grade built the guilatine kit. He then set it up on his dresser, rigged up a string taped to his bedroom light switch so when he turned on the light it tripped the lever and chopped off the head.

@cyantist Now comes the question. In the dreamscape did the person see the future version of you with this magical device in their own dream 30 years ago? Not likely . I've heard stories of couples having very similar dreams though.

My Grandmother was the book keeper for a Monkey Wards in Carlsbad N.M. back in the late 50's. Sadly my parents bought my clothes at Sears which back then were usually out of style by years. Sears should have the Boys Wear section renamed "Dork Wear". When I got my first job was when I actually bought my own shoes and jeans. Coming home wearing Converse "Chucks" and 501's was a crime against humanity.

@The_Monarch I was sent home a few years back with the port still in my arm. I had been sedated and had on a long sleeve shirt and didn't feel it until about an hour later. My son removed and bandaged I when we got home.

Oh yeah? Well back in my day paper sacks were so plentiful we put dog shit in them and set them on fire on the door steps of our enemies.

@zmwang For them? I want for both of them to die peacefully soon. Both are trapped in the later stages of Dementia. A disease that is cruel and steals the mind day by day.

@RockNRoLL_85 All are great. Depends on the type of music you like. In R&B, Big Mama Thornton can out sing at least half the ones shown.

Technically, 9 in my grandfathers 53 GMC. I would not call it driving though. More a white knuckle experience on a desert road with my intoxicated grandfather attempting to instruct me how to drive the truck. My more relaxed version of driving was about 11 in a 65 El Camino with an automatic. Actual drivers ED on a stick was at 14 and 9 months in a VW bug, which was legal in N.M for a learners permit.

Sort of like those who buy speakers online based advertised speaker specs. That every speaker with 40-25k specs sound the same as every other one with those specs regardless of price. Or that every receiver should be run flat loudness, bass and treble settings. Regardless of the room or speakers. I actually had a stereo salesman tell me that at University Stereo back in 1979. I told the manager his salesman was a fucking moron. Then went elsewhere.

Most consumers buy monitors based on advertised pixels. They only know pixels. "A 1080p is the same as every other 1080p," which is not true. The pixel count is just a figure that fits into other specs that really determine the monitors ability to convert the digital data to video. Consumers do not grasp that aspect ratio, display size, display resolution, color depth, refresh rate, pixel density, brightness levels, contrast ratios, and pixel response time all determine image quality.

The majority of consumers really think those TVs and audio systems they buy at Big Box stores are as good as it gets. You cant buy "decent" audio or video equipment at so called Big Box stores or the local club store. A true high end big screen TV is 12,000+ dollars. And yes there is a huge difference between the best TV at those mass market retailers and a real high end one. I know someone who has the money to buy higher end equipment and I can tell you that even with my old ears and eyes the difference is stunning. Just like the old "100 play" record club or discount store albums versus ones bought at a real record shop. Take a club record and a record store version and put them on a good system and the difference in audio was astounding. Put either on a cheap mass market system and they both sound like crap. This is why legit used record stores do not trade or buy old record club albums. Same goes for computers. Most laptops sold at big box stores are really unrepairable consumer grade junk. When it breaks you toss it out and buy a new one.
