This is a bad time to purchase property for lower & middle income households, especially with the recent OPR announcement from Bank Negara. It will trap them into debt at high interest rates which will stress family & individual finances. Don't do it.

Home ownership today is not like during your parents or grandparents' days. Inflation, property prices outstripping wage growth, mortgage payments, property taxes, and continuous repairs contribute to the realisation that houses are liabilities and not necessarily assets.
@azrulmohdkhalib Tbh, aren’t metal to cement to labour all rising and not set to drop ? I mean if 2020 couldn’t collapse house prices and in fact it went up higher, what makes you think it will get cheaper ahead even with opr hike? Be wary of your advise, no one’s guess what prices willbe(future)
@azrulmohdkhalib @dytiaaurinh If u hv this mindset, u won’t get a house unless u hv enou cash to COD. Housing repayment in msia avg 15-20 yrs and u will go thru ⬆️ down interest rates. Current interest rate up from bottom and it shall be going up only for the next few yrs.
