The magnitude of the disaster in Turkey & Syria calls for international humanitarian aid and support. In my capacity as current President of the B40 network, I have asked all member cities of the Balkans to actively and meaningfully contribute to the international relief efforts.

Resting on this bench was for sure the highlight of today’s summit. Situated in the courtyard of @technopolis_coa, this symbolic bench was custom made for Athens by @municipalityist subsidiary İSTON. It will remain as a mark of B40’s shared spirit of solidarity.

It always feels refreshing to meet with my fellow mayors from all across the Balkans. Hearing about the many concrete outputs made possible by the bilateral ties formed through B40 reminds me once again of the immense potential our network holds.
