@sixfivelando The pick label is a very fair but inaccurate predigous. A high level defender coupled with hustle will continue to earn minutes. On Mavs squad this deep those will be hard to come by. Big fan thus far. #thetruth

Great effort from the entire #Mavs squad tonight. A team that can and will compete. Reminder the Pacers took OKC to 7 just two years ago. A team that many in the west have failed to dethrone. The only team that did… a Luka led Mavs team? How close is Flagg? #sleeper

Opening Night: A tale of two halfs. A lot to look forward to. Kyrie is back. Flagg is that 1A guy. Risacher/Sasser with solid minutes. Morez was encouraging. A top 10 seed floor. A 5 seed ceiling. Need more creators. Need better transition defense. More 3s #hoopsday #Mavs

@JonRothstein Struggle to understand how Texas Tech doesn’t land here. With Toppin back this team is truly national title good. A lineup of the following could be considered the most dangerous 5 in the nation. Food for thought Jon. Toppin Darrion Atwell Stillwell Cruz

Sell sell sell. The @Rangers are in a bad bad place. Subpar stuff and very subpar 1-9. And a whiny, flimsy, unengaged superstar. Sell sell sell.

Blow up the rangers. Very subpar 1-9. Is anyone scared of a single hitter? Staff has regressed. Seager very unengaged consistently.

NEW: Where's the dynamic, bull-rushing Mikko Rantanen who took over the postseason a year ago? Because this Meek Rantanen isn't going to cut it. My column from Dallas: nytimes.com/athletic/72394…

What happened to Miko Rantanen? If it was your first hockey series would you even know Rantanen is the highest grossing player? The answer is no. The buck shouldnt stop at Rantanen, but you should start there.
