Banxta @banxtapp

@issam_lahssini @relayfinancial Losing Wise and Relay within a couple of months is brutal, sorry. Relay's own terms say complaints can go to the CFPB. I'd file one at consumerfinance.gov/complaint, name Relay and Thread Bank, and attach the 3 Sep closure email and the message that promised 45 days.

@janskapa @tommy_cik @Wise @Payoneer Wise says some European accounts may have a £25k-equivalent monthly withdrawal cap, depending on business type and verification. It may not explain your 40% cap; ask what cap applies and what's counted. Payoneer restricts crypto, so get written approval before routing BTC there.

@tommy_cik @janskapa @Wise Losing invoice card payments is a nasty surprise. Before switching, ask whether clients can pay an invoice link by card in their currency: amnis says yes, and Airwallex offers payment links too. Compare options: banxta.app/en/products/ca…

Wise can cap withdrawals on some European business accounts at £25,000 a month. Card spending, ATM cash and currency conversion don't count. Pending and scheduled transfers do. Who gets the cap? Wise: ‘your business type, registered address, verification status’.

@kamil_shman @Wise That’s rough, especially with several accounts hit together. If yours is under Wise’s UK business terms, they allow two months’ notice where required; ask support to confirm the applicable closure clause and payout date against your 30-business-day window: banxta.app/en/providers/w…

Licensed iGaming company? We read what 131 business-account providers publish about you. 44 rule you out, Wise, Mercury and Revolut among them. 32 want conditions, nearly always a licence. 46 say nothing. Two charge €900 just to review your application. Non-refundable.

Running a crypto company? We read what 131 business-account providers publish about you. 1 takes crypto with no conditions. 19 take it with conditions, usually a licence. 40 decide by what exactly you do. 27 rule it out. 41 say nothing at all. Silence isn't a yes.

@issam_lahssini @quantumwebco @Wise That’s rough after you sent the report. Wise's UK terms (updated 7 Aug) let the account owner appeal a closure; corporate opt-out customers can't use the FOS. Details: banxta.app/en/providers/w…

@0xAlejoTeran @sbamz1 @Wise @mercury Mercury lists unsupported geography as a possible closure reason, but doesn't say a trip alone triggers closure. Ask if it was card use, residence or another review; confirm lock vs closure and how funds will be paid. Checked 19 Oct: banxta.app/en/providers/m…

@iammhk_02 @Wise Rough, with funds still there. Wise says owners can appeal; the appeal page may also offer a refund request. It says you usually have 90 days to move funds (30 if registered in Brazil). Keep the closure email; don’t post account details. Checked 19 Oct: banxta.app/en/providers/w…

Revolut Business says it's built for "fast-growing AI startups". Airwallex puts "Generative AI & Artificial Intelligence" on the list that needs its approval. Same founder, two very different welcomes. And 78 of the 100 providers we read in full say nothing about AI at all.

Before you pay any application fee, send one email: “Do you open business accounts for [activity] companies registered in [country], with owners resident in [countries]? Please confirm in writing.” A written no costs nothing. A second decline within weeks is worse than none.

@NHE42 @JoeNakamoto Accepting bitcoin as payment is treated differently from being a crypto business. Revolut Business, for example, lists "Companies that accept or pay with cryptocurrency" among the crypto firms it accepts (with extra checks), and refuses exchanges, brokers and dealers.

@aaminaahh2 @OlatunjiAyokan2 Before forming the LLC, check the bank: Mercury and Relay both turn away owners who live in Nigeria, by their own rules. Wise, Airwallex and Payoneer publish no rule against owners abroad. Full list for a US company with an owner in Nigeria: banxta.app/en/countries/u…
