@StevenKerwin @p00x @MaximumK75753 You suggested NATO is the aggressor , not Russia. So NATO's expansion make it an "aggressor", but Russia invading sovereign countries - does not? Btw this map omits an important moment. In 1994 Russia itself also joined NATO's partnership for peace. So it should also turn blue.

@PWarrior8418282 If Russia didn't consider US it's enemy, then it would have absolutely no reason to oppose NATO expansion or any country's desire to ally with the US. Then their invasion of Ukraine automatically makes no sense, and they can go home. Why invade your ally's ally? Right?

@Realjaprince Read about Russia - NATO founding act from 1997. By signing it, Russia basically greenlit NATO expansion and fully accepted every state's right to freely choose its military alliances. It's an actual act SIGNED by Russia, which debunks all their claims about "broken promises".
