Ignoring shade cause you know they hate themselves >>>

⚠️ An 82 year old Grandma from Leeds has declared WAR on corporate greed by setting up a stall outside her local Morrisons selling her collection of second hand carrier bags, after being enraged at the supermarket charging an extortionate 60p per bag! 😲 "I've been hoarding these bloody things for 30 years!" she explained. "I've got hundreds under the kitchen sink, cupboards full of them and thousands piled up in the garden shed!" The pensioner pocketed a whopping £13.40 on her first day and insists she'll be back tomorrow, claiming she's got enough bags at home to keep her in business until 2029.

The little girl inside keeps me going. I owe her a beautiful life.

Growing older without becoming bitter about everything you've been through. Keeping your heart open while learning from life is no small achievement.

Something people rarely call a luxury but should…

When he talked about the wine storage, it described exactly how Nigerians build their houses. He said, “but it needs to closed, to be temperature controlled. But I guess it’s more of a display, like a flex without the utility.” I just said, “gbam!” Because that’s exactly how we are. We love performance than how well our problems are solved. And we measure wealth by how much we can show. It’s interesting how that as a culture is shown even tiny things like interior design.

I don’t believe in dating advice. Life is too nuanced. Just ensure you’re really open to love if you’re trying to seek it out & good luck.

They always conveniently ignore Doherty who is more accomplished. They need to tell us why it has to be GRV if the goal is to unseat APC with a competent leader.

Absolutely do not understand why people make it seem like GRV’s rejection by a subset of people on the account of him not being culturally inclined enough means they’re missing out on a savior. He’s clearly not the only qualified candidate, is he ?

"I believe in hadith. I've just stopped trusting the people who interpret it." Some Muslims are arriving at this position, and they usually have a specific negative experience to blame. You might have one, too. However, scholarly authority in Islam is not based on one scholar’s opinion, or even a few dozen scholars. It is an entire field of thousands across the four schools of Islamic thought, reading, debating, and correcting each other over centuries, held together by the Prophetic promise that the ummah will never unite upon error. When one scholar errs, hundreds of others are equipped to say so.  Dr. Ovamir Anjum examines the ethics of moral authority,  confronting the tensions that arise when trusting the scholars conflicts with trusting your heart.  Read the full article: "Follow Your Heart or Trust the Scholars? The Islamic Ethics of Moral Authority," by Dr. Ovamir Anjum. yqn.io/z70r #yqnpapers yqn.io/z70r

I think what makes this story more depressing & alarming than him being an “American Idol alum” is that Caleb Flynn was a worship pastor. And despite having a wife & two children, something many men long for, Flynn decided he wanted more than what God gave him. He started having an affair with a woman at his church. Text messages show that they became obsessed with each other, & Flynn began to despise his wife. But despite hating his wife, Flynn refused to divorce her because he didn’t want to lose his kids, his reputation, nor his job (his father-in-law gave him a job working for him). But his affair partner would not keep seeing him unless they divorced, so he decided to murder his wife. It’s a devastating reminder of what sin takes from us. Caleb went from lust, to betrayal, to adultery, to murder. And now his wife is dead. His children are without both parents. His affair partner has been exposed and her life is ruined. And of course, Caleb ruined his own life. “Sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must rule over it.”

I never related to a post so much in my life. 🎯

As long as the majority of the conversation is focused on immigration being the route of all evil this will NEVER change. It allows people to be ignorantly bliss towards larger societal issues and how the elites are making life absolute hell for the average person.

Deeply dislike this genre of Yoruba names, they annoy me as much as Anglicised Yoruba names (yes, I’m talking about Tiaraoluwa). Another example, Ibukunoluwalonmunilalaifilalasi. Looks ridiculous, sounds crazy, doesn’t mean more than the average name it’s derived from.

Chimamanda’s Dad was kidnapped. Yet she kept giving and giving to this Nation. And then it took her child. If she says she is done, then she is done. Take your faux patriotism out of my face.

This is generational wealth

From my experience speaking to top founders, you send questions ahead and co-edit. If that question is there. It’s because Dangote wants it there.

What a stupid, stupid question. And from a female interviewer at that. Is there no level of foolishness that is beneath Nigerian news anchors and "journalists"?
