@JustJenRX I’m glad you got your son back. I can’t even begin to imagine what that must have felt like, but I’ll never understand why parents send their kids off to the enemy for 4 years. There are plenty of colleges that won’t destroy what you spent 18 years building.

@nicksortor Ban assault megaphones. The first amendment was never intended to protect amplified speach. Am I doing this right?

@CDiddyyy @itsJohnRocker True, but they’ll recover that difference and more when the salesmechanic comes twice a year for maintenance visits.

@MorrivarGG @Saint_Mikal_13 @mattvanswol No, I don’t believe it’s worth it. I’m saying since our founding ppl who want to vote figured out a way, and 180 yrs ago congress est. a fed election day to simplify things. A nat holiday w/ or w/o pay can’t be applied equally to everyone so I don’t see it as necessary.

@MorrivarGG @Saint_Mikal_13 @mattvanswol It shouldn’t be a national holiday. Congress established the federal election day as the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November 180 years ago and people who want to vote have figured out a way to get to the polls each election since.

@MorrivarGG @Saint_Mikal_13 @mattvanswol That seems reasonable. People wanting a whole paid day off isn’t. There should some sort of personal sacrifice if voting is important to you. I don’t want people incentivized to vote by anything other than the current issues and the candidates.

@mattvanswol Who’s paying employees for this day off? Employers? This will affect fed employees more than anyone else and I’m not sure that’s a good thing. See Virginia’s last election results.
