Crazy story. 68 armed robberies in LA, in one year. And a lavish American wedding barely 3 months ago. Now a major LAPD breakthrough: lapdonline.org/newsroom/seria…

Tobi Amusan tried hard not to cry singing the national anthem. She held the tears, but when that line: " the labour of our 'HEROES' past, shall never be in vain." It hit her...it dawned on her that she is now a HERO herself. The tears flowed😭😭🇳🇬🇳🇬

@Naza_Clothings @maazi_ogbonnaya I believe its an all encompassing greeting as if to say ("ekeleekwam unu, sannu, doo (edo), hello). Its not time specific and can be used anytime.of the day

@aai_austin @maazi_ogbonnaya Yes. It is an enquiry into how you feel. Like the English would say "did you sleep well" rather than plain "good morning" even in Hausa it can be 0a question "antashi lafia" (pls.dont mind my spelling). They greeter genuinely wants to know how you are

@maazi_ogbonnaya They could actually keep it at "ndeewo nu ooo." I wish they would the this correction.

@maazi_ogbonnaya I agree with you. Every time I hear a radio or TV presenter say "ututu oma" I cringe. Igbo language does not have any greeting like that. I boola chi, I putala, I saana chi (depending on olu) is a more central greeting. Although most villages still have their own form or greeting
