I know all the rage is about LSD, but I would like to propose an alternative plan to reduced pooled staking: Reduce the required ETH from 32 ETH down to 1 over the next 8 years. I name this the Ethereum Halving 1/
@PhABCD Friend everyone switched to LST instead of LSD, including Lido. It's a token, not a derivative - no need for the regulatory self-own.
@ViktorBunin LSD is too good of a term to let it go without a fight
@PhABCD Friend you're welcome to bring undue regulatory pressure onto your own project, but please don't do it to other people's. It's fucked up.
@ViktorBunin Liquid Staking Deposits will bring more undue regulatory pressure then Liquid Staking Tokens?
@PhABCD People use the D for derivative. It was considered to change to deposit but didn't stick because the LST tokens are not deposits, they're tokens.
@ViktorBunin @PhABCD Or perhaps they are something that derives its value from an underlying asset, aka a derivative.
