I pay tribute to the wonderful NHS staff who are being ordered to work overtime this Easter due to the strain on our NHS. After all they’ve done for our country, the Tories betrayed them with a real terms pay cut. These heroes deserve a 15% pay rise NOW.

So we have a PM who lied to The Queen & Parliament & broke his own COVID rules, a Chancellor who wanted to live in US, health sec who was a non dom (who replaced a rule breaker), a home sec who broke ministerial code but kept her job & a culture sec who thinks she owns C4.Blimey.

Shell's profits have surged while your energy bills rocket. Yet it's again paid NO tax on its UK oil & gas profits. And it gets worse: the Tories gave them a tax rebate of £90 MILLION! We need a Windfall Tax on Shell's profits - with the money used to lower your energy bills.

The Tories' plan to privatise Channel 4 has nothing to do with it competing with Netflix. It has everything to do with neutering critical reporting and trashing public service broadcasting. It's cultural vandalism and must be opposed.

Instead of National Insurance hikes for millions of people, we could raise the same amount of money with a 1.5% tax on any wealth over £5 million. Remember that when the Tories say there is no alternative to today's tax hike!
