People often underestimate the power of Chamas. They see women gathering, contributing money, catching up, and supporting one another informally. But through our work at Badili Africa, we have seen something much bigger taking shape inside these spaces. We have seen women building businesses and economic resilience. We have seen women becoming more politically aware, learning their rights, questioning leadership, demanding accountability, and organizing collectively around community issues.
