Let’s play a game. If I say, “cellar door” do you think I mean an inside door that leads to a basement/cellar or an outside door? What if I say a “bulkhead or Bilco door”? Now what if I say, “The doors like in The Wizard of Oz”? #whatsthepoint #itsaregionalsociologicalgame #andImjustcurious #sheesh
@bettedavisthizz I live in a civilised country, so 'cellar door' to me is where I can buy bottles of wine straight from the winery. Anything else is frankly an abomination and unclean in the eyes of the Lord.
@bettedavisthizz Caller doors to me are the outdoor ugly tin double slanted doors that often rusts
@bettedavisthizz The minute I read "cellar door" I thought of a door outside the house that leads to the entrance of a root cellar. I didn't need any of the rest. But I'm American and have been on my share of farms.
@bettedavisthizz My grandmother’s cellar was the basement where we stored canned goods and potatoes they grew. My home had an outbuilding with a double door like in The Wizard of Oz.
@bettedavisthizz Cellar door = shup at the winery where you buy the wine.
@bettedavisthizz First thought re Cellar door was a winery tasting room😂😂😂
@bettedavisthizz Outside door to cellar
