@OMGno2trump Oil is less than half the price it was just a few years ago. A 4% gain in the price of crude gets us nowhere close. A majority of what you see in extra fees at the pump comes from taxes imposed by local government.

Thanks to Justin Bieber, it’s apparently a thing to challenge celebrities 31 years your senior to trade punches. Bring it @alicecooper (He’d still probably kick my ass, but it would be worth it for the story)

In both on-line & off-line casting, I'm kinda obsessed w. statistics for my VO business. I'm 3 months in and feel like I'm doing OK (could always be better). But I'm curious. What kind of stats do you track about your VO career, & what do you consider "on track"? #voiceover

@c_squint @MeganTaylorVA @Brandonator275 This week I had to record in an swelteringly hot booth in south Texas. Thankfully it was a short session, but I still needed a new shirt!

It’s been a great week. Got a great recording out for a new client (if I do say so myself 😉), and hires again right away for another project with them. #Voiceover #Voiceovers #VoiceActing #volife #VoiceActor

@AndrewsVoices I recorded a session for a client in a garage based (no AC) booth in TX while on a business trip yesterday. By the end of the session I needed a new shirt.

@entrecon My daughter is too. And enjoys “playing” recording in my booth. I’m sure there must be a market out there for kids voices, but like you, I’m not sure of the best way to access it.

@AndrewsVoices I heard a story from my coach this week, that Daniel Stern (Home Alone), who also voiced the Narrator for the wonder years, got great feedback for narration done in a blanket/pillow fort in a trailer when he couldn't make it to a studio. Whatever works, right?

@DeVoiceDom @AndrewsVoices A few people have recommended Bodalgo. Admittedly, I had not even heard of that one. Will definitely check it out.

Anyone have any experience with VOPlanet? How does it compare with other Pay-to-play casting sites such as Voices.com. I’m doing OK with the latter, but would like to extend my reach. #Voiceover

@VOJonB1 I have not ventured there yet. But listening and reading in my various groups the two go-to’s seem to be VOplanet and Bodalgo even over voices. I believe bodalgo doesn’t take a cut at all just their subscription fee
