"𝐈𝐟 𝐒𝐮𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐠𝐨 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐢𝐝!" A friend said this to me recently. After an initial visceral reaction, I realized he was right. The amount of Twitter Spaces that go on for hours, everyone has an opinion, everyone has a solution, and everyone talks endlessly... including me. So, I decided to take him at his word. His challenge was simple: "Don't just talk, donate." Our people are starving to death at levels which should make all of humanity ashamed. Alas, we cannot control the world, but we can control ourselves as PATRIOTIC Sudanese Men and Women right? I thought, what if everyone who has ever tweeted using a hashtag#Sudan hashtag donated $1 for each of their tweets? Charities like @SadagaatUSA would have over $4.9 million to feed Sudanese children and families. So, that's what I did. I counted my tweets and donated $1 for each tweet I have written about Sudan. That's 106 tweets, so I donated $106. Some are more prolific than me and have tweeted 10,000+ times, so maybe they donate $0.01 per tweet. Some are consumers rather than tweeters and have only tweeted 5 times, so they could donate $10 per tweet. The point is... DON'T JUST TALK, DONATE! Will you join me? Will you hashtag #DontJustTalkDonate ? #Sudan @RodwaanSaleh

On the one-year anniversary of the war in Sudan, @CarolVanDam1 interviewed Dr. @YYElamin, president of The Sudanese American Physicians Association (SAPA), on @VOANews's Daybreak Africa. “I remember in the earlier days of the war and social media platforms like WhatsApp, the Sudanese communities were exchanging tips on how a woman can have a safe delivery at home, so it was that bad due to the lack of access to hospitals.” - Dr. Yasir Elamin. #SAPAHopeForSudan

Wow, this is exceedingly rare. The immense Noam Chomsky was given a whole 8 minutes on Piers Morgan to explain how the US is provoking China into war, and he does a brilliant job at it. An absolute must-watch if you want to understand what's happening. He explains how the US is 1) "abandoning the One-China policy" that has "held the peace in the region for 50 years", 2) increasingly "encircling China with a ring of sentinel states armed with advanced precision weapons aimed at China" and 3) waging "a war to prevent China from developing", all the while gaslighting the world into believing it's China that's changing the status quo.
