Developers on zkSync 2.0 testnet, the system will undergo a regenesis on Tuesday October 25th. The regenesis will reset transaction history, token balances and require developers to redeploy contracts. This only applies to the zkSync 2.0 testnet and will not affect zkSync 1.0.

Scaling means the ability to *continue* increasing throughput given more resources, not hitting a magic number + calling it a day, or making a one-time improvement due to a software/hardware advances.
So, will the performance gains of Solana's firedancer matter when there is a horizontally scalable L1 around doing potentially orders of magnitude more TPS? Can we see blockchains scale to a degree where they can be used transparently alongside other scalable web2 tech?
