Can’t wait for this guy to terrorize Red Sox pitching for the rest of his career, here’s to 15 more years of this 🥂

@Nyanasaur I remember in Spring Training when Andruw Monasterio started getting reps and someone said, “he didn’t belong on a major league roster.” At the time, I agreed, and I wasn’t super optimistic about his season. But boy, am I glad he’s on the team now. Sorry Andruw 😅

As I awake from my Twitter hibernation, I cannot help but note that the Red Sox (a) are 9-14, and (b) got shut out by the Yankees tonight. I love these guys though, I pray they can turn it around 🙏🏼 I’m resolving to have a more positive and thankful outlook this season 😁

To sum up this incredible 30-5 stretch: to combine with stellar pitching, the hitters are hitting far more home runs, and while they are striking out at a similar clip, they are walking more, meaning more guys on base, leading to (you guessed it) more runs.

Good morning and happy Thursday, fellow Red Sox enjoyers! I was at work this morning, and instead of doing my job, I decided to crunch some numbers to break down this season so far (and projections for the rest of the year). Hopefully y’all find this interesting as well!

This would bring their (ideal) season totals to a whopping… Record: (104-58) Slash line: .247/.320/.410/.730 H: 1,325 2B: 274 3B: 24 HR: 185 RBI: 716 SB: 125 BB: 504 K: 1,324 K/BB Ratio: 1,324/504 (2.63/1) R: 752 BAbip: .294

@Jared_Carrabis The talent is there. They’re a young team that’s still trying to figure out their identity. They lost a huge clubhouse leader and offensive weapon in Bregman, so it’s going to be tough adjusting to that. They’ll get hot at some point (I hope), it’s just a matter of when.

@MazzullaBallFan The starters have been better from what little I’ve watched! But yes, the offense has been dreadful unfortunately. Long season ahead, we’ll see what happens 🤷‍♂️

@ladyredsoxxx I’m sorry to hear you weren’t doing well :( I actually do not have social media anymore, but one of my friends sent me a tornado video and I logged in to look at it. I scrolled down after watching, and saw this post. Very glad to see you’re doing better now!
