@vrexec funny how what people end up valuing most isn't the salary, it's the trains, the long holidays and the calmer work culture. do you see many of them just deciding Europe is the permanent plan now?
Details: it works on a normal visitor visa or NZ's online travel pass (NZeTA). Tax: NZ usually won't tax that income for up to 92 days in a year if you're taxed back home. From Immigration New Zealand's own news page.
Most people don't know this is allowed. You can visit New Zealand and keep doing your job back home. Since January 2025, visitors can work remotely for an employer or clients outside the country. Just no local jobs or local clients while you're there. Would you go for a month?

@GlobalMoveHub Korea, easy 😄 the scholarship comes with a degree, a new language and a few years living there. a visitor visa lets you visit Canada but not take a job there, so it's a holiday pass, not a move. anyone picking Canada, what's the plan?
@TechnicalBben the money bar does keep moving. one thing that changes the maths a lot is a job offer with sponsorship, then the employer carries a big part of it. which country were you looking at?

A question worth starting with: Not "which country is best?" But "what do I want a normal Tuesday to look like?" More sun? Walking to work? Kids playing outside more? Dinner at 9? The right places get much easier to spot after that. What's on yours?

Aged 18 to 35 with a UK passport? You can live and work in Australia for up to 3 years. That's three 1-year visas, and you don't have to use them back to back. Since July 2024 you don't need to do farm work to get your second or third year. Where would you base yourself first?
